Oventrop (UK) Ltd expands its portfolio of CIBSE TM65 verified MEP products

Oventrop (UK) Ltd continues to strengthen its commitment to decarbonisation, expanding its portfolio of CIBSE TM65 verified MEP products through CIBSE Certification's Embodied Carbon Verification (ECV) Scheme.

As the building services industry faces mounting pressure to reduce carbon emissions and meet net-zero targets, having reliable, verified carbon data is no longer a nice-to-have, it is an industry necessity. Oventrop recognises this shift and has made carbon transparency a core part of its product strategy, ensuring specifiers, contractors, and building owners have access to the accurate data to make informed decisions.

Most recently, Oventrop has extended its verified portfolio to include an additional  22 products from the Aquastrom range, the Aquastrom C, Aquastrom K, and Aquastrom VT. Designed for potable water circulation control, these thermal circulation valves are the latest additions to Oventrop's growing lineup of ECV-verified products, reflecting the company's ongoing drive to embed carbon accountability across its full range.

Verified Data for a Changing Industry

The construction and building services sectors are undergoing a fundamental shift. Embodied carbon, the emissions associated with the manufacture, installation, and end-of-life of products is increasingly under the spotlight as the industry moves beyond operational energy efficiency towards whole-life carbon reduction. In this environment, independently verified data for MEP products is essential.

By participating in CIBSE Certification's ECV Scheme, Oventrop goes beyond self-assessment. Independent verification of their CIBSE TM65 data gives the supply chain confidence that carbon claims are robust, consistent, and trustworthy exactly what the industry demands right now.

A Continued Commitment to Decarbonisation

Oventrop's journey with the ECV Scheme is not a one-off achievement, being an early adopter of the scheme, it is part of a sustained effort to lead on sustainability within the building services sector. By continually expanding the number of products with verified carbon data, the company is setting an example for manufacturers across the industry.

As regulations tighten and clients increasingly require verified embodied carbon data at the specification stage, Oventrop's proactive approach positions it as a trusted partner for those serious about delivering low-carbon buildings.
