Welcome to the October edition of the CIBSE Certification newsletter.
Renewals 2023 / 2024
Invoices are now available to be paid online via your personal account – log in and view your invoice now.
Registrations are for the individual so invoices will be addressed to you with your name and work details. Should you require any changes or have any questions regarding your renewal please email Certification at epc@cibsecertification.org or call +44 (0)20 8772 3649.
A few things to make sure are up to date include:
- Your contact details, including work information
- Your insurance records (PII and or PLI)
- Software certificate for LCC Simulation and EPC registrants
Please note that even if you pay your registration fee we will only be providing certificates and ID cards if your registration meets the compliance requirements, so you may still be suspended.

National Energy Efficiency Awards 2023 Winners
CIBSE Certification is delighted and proud to announce that it has won an Energy Efficiency Award in the category National Quality Management, Compliance and Training Company of the Year.
This category recognises one company that provides compliance and quality management services or training to people in the energy efficiency sector or certifies the products and practices of an organisation meet a high standard.

Digital certificates and ID cards
Since 1 September 2022 we have been issuing digital certificates and ID cards - you will no longer receive certificates and ID cards in the post.
Once you have paid the renewal fee and we have checked that your registration(s) is fully compliant, we will email you a link to access your digital certificate(s) and ID card. You will be able to view your certificate(s), download a PDF copy, and share certificates with your employer and clients if needed as evidence of your live registrations.
Please note that the certificates are only valid with an up to date registration so if you fall off the register for any reason your certificate(s) and ID card will not be available.
Further information will be provided to you when we email you the link.
CIBSE Certification logos
Many of you have now updated your signatures so you are now using the correct logos.
Please note that your registration number also needs to be added under the relevant Certification logo as per the guidelines in the marketing toolkits.

PEPA Conference
The annual PEPA conference will be held at the Riverside Centre in Derby on 31 October 2023.
There will be speakers from DESNZ, HSE, DLUHC and an update on the Scottish Consultation, concluding with a panel session with scheme members.

ESOS Newsletter Issue 14
Phase 3 Qualification, Extension to Compliance Deadline and new Requirements subject to Parliamentary Approval
As a lot of you are already aware, there are a number of changes to the ESOS compliance process (these were communicated in our previous newsletters) that are coming into force soon, subject to Parliamentary approval.
The latest newsletter and the accompanying appendix provide the necessary information of these changes, these are important to review and understand before submitting compliance notifications.
