Happy New Year and welcome to the first 2020 edition of the CIBSE Certification newsletter.
CPD
We will be auditing all Certification CPD records next month, so if you have not already done so please update your 2019 CPD records to avoid suspension. Visit the CPD requirements webpage for more information.
A few key points to look out for when updating your CPD:
- Ensure you have at least 21 hours of activity, LCEAs may require more if registered for more than one LCEA strand
- Add at least one objective relevant to your registration(s) and assign it to relevant activities
- Assign the applicable certification scheme to relevant activities up to the hours required for each strand
Update your CPD now.
PEPA Conference
Last year we received a lot of feedback that the conference was too focussed on the domestic EPC agenda when future developments were being discussed. This year, there will be a specific strand dealing with non-domestic issues. This will include an update on the new SOR audit regime as well as items on DECs and MEES.
