11 & 12 Wellington Place Improves to 5.5 Star NABERS UK Energy Rating

CIBSE Certification, administrator of the NABERS UK scheme, has confirmed that 11 & 12 Wellington Place has achieved a 5.5 Star NABERS UK Energy Rating, an improvement on the 5 Star rating the buildings certified last year.

The buildings were the first in the UK to certify under NABERS UK Design for Performance, achieving a 5 Star rating in 2025. This year's 5.5 Star result places them among a small number of UK offices to reach this level of measured, in-use energy performance.

NABERS UK ratings are based on actual operational energy data rather than design predictions, meaning improvements in star rating reflect real, measured gains in how a building performs once in use. The move from 5 to 5.5 Stars at 11 & 12 Wellington Place points to sustained attention from the buildings' management team to monitoring and managing energy use over the course of the year.
