John Field, Energy Management Director, Noveus Energy
John Field CEng FCIBSE is Energy Management Director of Consultancy Noveus Energy. As a CIBSE registered ESOS lead assessor and trained ISO 50001 lead auditor he has extensive experience of taking organisations to compliance for both schemes. He has progressed large-scale Energy Services contracts in the health sector and is chair of the Energy Performance Contracting Group at ESTA the Energy Systems and Technology Association.
Andrew Geens, Head of CIBSE Certification
Professor Andrew Geens is Head of CIBSE Certification based in London and is responsible for the operation of personnel and management system certification schemes primarily associated with the energy performance of buildings. Andrew was formerly a Principal Lecturer in the Faculty of Advanced Technology at the University of Glamorgan where amongst many other things, he taught energy management to post-graduate facilities management students. He has a BEng (Hons) and a PhD in Environmental Engineering, and is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers. His particular interests in indoor air quality, energy performance of buildings and low energy design of buildings complement his current role perfectly. Most recently, Andrew has been conducting ISO 50001 audits as part of the certification process for a number of client organisations and is a member of the UK mirror committee for 50001.
