Add our widget to your desktop, website, blog or social network

 

 

 

 

 

 

With our new widget users can search the CIBSE Low Carbon Energy Assessor Register without having to visit our website first. You might be a busy property manager who needs to find Assessors from around the country, or a website owner, blogger or social networker looking to add value to your site. The widget can be downloaded onto a range of platforms, whether it’s your desktop, website, blog or social network.

The instructions below tell you how.

Webmasters, social networks and bloggers

1. Choose the widget you want; full size version (328px wide) or sidebar version (200px wide)

2. Click the GET WIDGET button 

3. Webmaster  - copy the code displayed in the box and move on to step 4, below.  Social networkers - click installation wizard for Facebook or MySpace and follow the on screen instructions.  Bloggers – click on the relevant platform and follow the on screen instructions

4. Copy the code using the COPY button and either paste it into a file (such as a new notepad file) on your computer to save it for use later, or paste it directly into the source code of your webpage in the position you want it to appear

Upload your new source code and the widget will be live on your webpage.  If you are not the webmaster of a website or a webpage owner, you will need to liaise with the owner or webmaster to install the widget.

Desktop users

To download the desktop version:

1. Download this zip file

2. Unzip the widget folder to unpack the application by clicking on the ‘Extract all files’ link on the left of the CIBSE widget window.

3. Save the widget, entitled CIBSE_widget.exe onto your desktop.

4. To search for a Low Carbon Energy Assessor, simply click on the widget icon!

Please note, the widget will need an active internet connection to access the CIBSE Register.
